The Research Cell of ISB&M College of Commerce organized a guest lecture on “From Idea to Paper: Basics of Research Writing” on 18th September 2025. The session was conducted by Dr. Sushmita Nande, an expert in research methodology and academic writing.
The lecture aimed to enhance students’ understanding of the research process, including research idea generation, formulation of research questions, literature review, research methodology, referencing, and ethical writing practices. Students gained valuable insights into transforming research ideas into well-structured research papers and learned the importance of avoiding plagiarism and following proper citation methods.
The session was highly informative and encouraged students to develop research skills, analytical thinking, and interest in academic research.
