Industrial Visit

The industrial Visit was conducted on Wednesday 28th August, 2024 at RBI, CAB Pune. This visit was arranged for BBA finance and final year BBA CA Students. Total 39 students had registered, but 29 students had reported for the visit. As a policy of visit out of college campus, students undertaking were taken.... Sunil Wanjare, Training and Placement Officer and Pravin Suryawanshi, Class co-ordinator of final year BBA CA had accompanied for the visit as faculties. Mrs Sowmyashree S, Assistant General Manager officer from RBI, College of Agricultural Banking had co-ordinated the visit for our students in Shivajinagar Training Centre. RBI being central bank of India and therefore there was a strict security check at the entrance. We were guided to the training hall. During the visit students were briefed about the establishment of College of Agricultural Banking, functions of RBI. Narayan Sir had demonstrated with graphical representation the impact of technology development in India in banking sector. The gap between male and female bank account holders has been drastically reduced. Women tend to save more money due to digitalization of money with different payment apps. The Technology has enabled the banks to give complete transparency for DBT ( Direct benefit Transfer ) of various government schemes like PF, Farmers Krishi Yogana, subsidies of solar panels etc. This session was conducted by Mr. Narayan Kumar, General Manager, RBI. During this sessions many students asked questions. Questions related to the following topics were asked : New Technologies in banking, Recruitment process at RBI, How to avoid financial cyber crimes, myth of Crypto currency. This session was very interactive and engaging. Due to time constraint the Question and Answer session was curtailed.
Students visited the FLC, financial Literacy Centre. In this hall there were many posters about savings. The in charge officer explained the importance of savings and the modes of savings.
